BIG QUEBEC ENTREPRENEURSHIP CONTEST
DĂ©fi OSEntreprendre

SADC de Papineau-Collines is proud to have organized the 26th edition of the Défi OSEntreprendre, an event filled with joy and celebration where entrepreneurship and daring were in the spotlight. 🌟

This great Quebec movement highlights the entrepreneurial initiatives of thousands of people every year: young students, supported by their school counsellors, students and entrepreneurs. It takes root at local, regional and national levels, thanks to the commitment of over 300 leaders in the 17 regions of Quebec.

THE TEAM IS GROWING
Welcoming Two New Team Members

This fall has been marked by the arrival of new talent in our team. We are thrilled to welcome Charlène Raby, Sustainable Development Advisor, and Claudie Bigras, Communications Assistant, who bring their expertise and creativity to our organization.

Additionally, we have opened two new positions: Business Advisor and Project Manager. These additions will help us meet increasing demand and continue developing innovative projects for our community! 🚀

COHORT-BASED SUPPORT PROGRAM
Together, Let’s Decarbonize Our Businesses

Cohort Dedicated to Tourism Businesses

The Together, Let’s Decarbonize project has been a tremendous success this year! We wrapped up the year with registrations for a 4th cohort, specifically designed for tourism businesses. This initiative has also been widely recognized by our peers at both the provincial and national levels, as well as by our partners.

The program aims to help businesses in the Outaouais region reduce their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions while improving profitability.

And the good news? This program could be subsidized for interested businesses.

 

Grants for Carbon Neutrality Initiatives: Express Your Interest Quickly!

The SADC is currently working on submitting grant applications to support local businesses that wish to integrate a “carbon neutrality” approach in 2025. This financial support, offered through the Together, Let’s Decarbonize project, will help participating businesses stand out in their sector, attract new customers, and develop business opportunities.

Detailed information is available on our website, where you can express your interest in this initiative, whether for the spring or fall 2025 cohort. By filling out the form, your business could be included in the grant application. Hurry—spaces are limited!

What Does a “Carbon Neutrality” Approach with Together, Let’s Decarbonize Involve?
4 working sessions (2 to 3 hours each), including one in person and three online. These workshops will help you:

  • Improve your business’s profitability and efficiency.
  • Reduce your carbon footprint with tailored tools for analyzing transportation, energy efficiency, and waste management.

Two Cohorts Planned for 2025!
