The 27th Défi OSEntreprendre Outaouais Kicks off

SADC de Papineau-Collines kicks off of the 27th edition of the Défi OSEntreprendre Outaouais under the honorary presidency of A4 Architecture + Design

Gatineau, November 27, 2024 – Honorary co-presidents of the Défi OSEntreprendre Outaouais Sophie Lamothe and Marie-Ève Simard of A4 Architecture + Design are delighted to kick off the 27th edition. Accompanied by their partners, Geneviève Bérard and Karine Boivin, they were regional winners in the Business Creation category in 2015, and national winners in the Success Inc. category in 2023. The A4 Architecture + Design entrepreneurs, who are celebrating their company’s 10 anniversary this year, are very happy to be promoting the OSEntreprendre Challenge and the entrepreneurial spirit in the Outaouais region.

A4 Architecture + Design: Outaouais tattooed on the heart

Sophie Lamothe and Marie-Ève Simard, along with Geneviève Bérard and Karine Boivin, founded A4 Architecture + Design in 2014 to create quality living environments and meet the region’s architectural needs, while respecting their humanist values. The Gatineau-based company, which also has an office in Saint-André-Avellin, has a mission to make the Outaouais an ideal place to live. Specializing in architecture, interior design and custom furniture for the hospital, school and commercial sectors, A4 Architecture + Design stands out for its commitment to sustainable development and its positive impact on the community. Through their remarkable careers, they embody the success of women entrepreneurs in a still largely male-dominated field, breaking barriers with boldness and determination.

“At A4 Architecture + Design, we dared to pave our own path, and the Défi OSEntreprendre marked a turning point in our entrepreneurial journey, giving us the visibility and recognition we needed to pursue our vision with even more audacity. It has enabled us to connect with an inspiring community of entrepreneurs and solidify our commitment, mission and values. We invite each and every one of you to do the same, and take each challenge as an opportunity to grow, innovate and contribute positively to your community,” explain Sophie Lamothe and Marie-Ève Simard.

The countdown is on!

Students, school staff and entrepreneurs are invited to register by March 11, 2024, 4 p.m. All eligibility criteria, as well as the list of categories and special prizes, are available online at osentreprendre.quebec. A regional awards ceremony will be held in April.
