Since 2023, the SADC Papineau-Collines has been actively participating in the mission of the Défi OSEntreprendre in order to inspire the desire to undertake and contribute to building a proud, innovative, engaged, and prosperous Quebec
The Défi OSEntreprendre
The Défi OSEntreprendre is a major Quebec movement that annually showcases the entrepreneurial initiatives of some 67,000 people:
- Youth from preschool to adults education supported by their school staff with its School component (volet Scolaire)
- Collegial and University students with its Student componnent (volet Étudiant)
- Startup entrepreneurs with its Business Creation component (volet Création d’entreprise),
- Entrepreneurs with inspiring journeys with its Success Inc. component ( volet Réussite inc.).
It unfolds and takes root at the local, regional, and national levels. For its implementation, more than 300 leaders mobilize in the 17 regions of Quebec to highlight the projects emerging from their community.

Création d’entreprise (Business Creation)
Are you embarking on a new entrepreneurial adventure? Express your passion, experience the thrill of a jury, and possibly win a scholarship, in addition to expanding your network by joining the OSEntreprendre entrepreneurial community! The Business Creation component of the OSEntreprendre Challenge offers new entrepreneurs, during their start-up year, the opportunity to validate their project, obtain scholarships, expand their network, and express their passion.
Réussite inc. (Achievement)
Has your business previously participated in the OSEntreprendre Challenge? Take the time to reflect on your journey, celebrate your achievements, and inspire other entrepreneurs, while also having the chance to win a scholarship!
The Réussite inc. component highlights diverse business models that have participated in the OSEntreprendre Challenge, are still in business after five years, and whose journey combines five aspects of success: achievements, values, finances, prospects, and team. Entrepreneurs are thus invited to reconnect with the OSEntreprendre Challenge, to look back, and to share their adventure.
Student component
Are you working on an entrepreneurial project while you are studying?
The Student Component promotes the development of the entrepreneurial spirit at the college and university levels through an experience that gives meaning to learning, strengthens the sense of belonging, and supports career guidance.
Scolaire (Schools)
The Educational component of the OSEntreprendre Challenge supports the development of an entrepreneurial spirit by highlighting pupils and students who undertake entrepreneurial initiatives. Whether in primary school by creating a product from recycled material or at university by launching an online platform, young people are at the heart of the action and decision-making in collaboration with school stakeholders.
