What is the HR Accelerator?

This new support program was designed by SADC Papineau-Collines to offer concrete actions to local businesses, regardless of their size or sector of activity, in order to optimize their recruitment in the current context of labor scarcity. Through our personalized coaching, you will identify your urgent needs, apply best practices and develop skills to attract the attention of the right candidates.

Joining the HR Accelerator will allow you to:

  • Understand the needs and motivations of potential young candidates
  • Identify your hiring issues on which to work as a priority
  • Adapt your business practices to the expectations of millennials
  • Develop new digital, technological, communicational and eco-responsible skills
  • Be part of a cohort of local businesses experiencing the same challenges
  • Retain your long-term employees

Coaching and support plan

Our team will support each company through 3 key phases, over a maximum of 4 months.

  • Diagnosis of current practices and business needs
  • Development of a defined action plan
  • Support in the implementation of 2 priority strategies

Frequently asked questions

What are the eligibility criterias?

The eligibility criteria are:

  • Be legally constituted for-profit enterprises or social economy enterprises, registered with the Registraire des entreprises du Québec and incorporated under a law of the government of Quebec or of Canada;
  • Have a commercial establishment in Outaouais;
  • Have less than 200 employees;
  • Demonstrate financial viability which relies more than 40% on independent income from its economic activities;
  • Commitment and interest demonstrate to improve its HR, technological, strategic, eco-responsible and communication practices.
  • The business must have a web presence (website or social media or Google My Business Listing, etc.)

The following clienteles are not eligible as members of the cohort:

  • A company majority-owned by a municipal entity or a state-owned company (majority shareholder)
  • A sole proprietorship (self-employed worker);
  • Financial services companies and other companies under the Autorité des marchés financiers;
  • A business under the protection of the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act or the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act;
  • A company registered in the Register of companies not eligible for public contracts at the following link: https://amp.quebec/rena/

How much does it cost to join the program?

SADC and its partners are covering 97% of the total cost of support, which is valued at $ 18,000. The cost of membership is $ 495 per company.

Will it take a lot of my time?

No. We know your reality. You will have to invest at least in 4 meetings of 1h30 with our experts, over a deadline of 4 months maximum.

Will I discover new solutions to recruit and retain employees?

We are convinced of it! Over time, we have built a bank of proven strategies and original ideas that can be applied to all kinds of situations.
