On March 24th, the SADC de Papineau-Collines and Export Outaouais announced the signing of an exclusive partnership aimed at facilitating access to specialized support services for businesses that are exporting or planning to export.
« Businesses are driving the economy in rural areas of Quebec; it is essential to support entrepreneurs by providing them with the tools and support they need to succeed and to ensure their long-term prosperity. The Export Passports will allow many businesses to diversify their markets, re-launch their activities and grow. “» – Mélissa Bergeron, General Manager of the SADC Papineau-Collines
Exporting: What’s in it for you?
Every company is considered to be an exporter when it sells its products or services, directly or indirectly, outside of Quebec’s borders. Whether in other parts of Canada or internationally, many businesses are already exporting without realizing it by selling their goods or services in other Canadian provinces.
Exporting can propel your business to the next level while growing your customer base, increasing your sales and improving your competitiveness and profitability. Nevertheless, it is crucial to have a solid plan of action and the resources required to succeed in foreign markets.
Export Outaouais is a regional export promotion organization that provides support to Outaouais businesses in developing, strengthening or expanding their markets outside of Quebec and on the international scene.
What is the Export Passport?
Businesses that are granted an Export Passport can have up to 20 hours of individualized consulting services from Export Outaouais’ team. In addition, they will also have access to several information and training activities as well as various regional events.
This partnership also provides businesses access to a range of regional and international resources and specialists to help them develop new markets.
